Our Team

A People First Story

At Grey Horse, we utilize our experience in editorial, design, social media, and project management to develop a strategic plan to reach your ideal audience. We come from industries like journalism, copywriting, event management, content production, and the performing arts – which give us a unique, both-sides vision to executing and explaining a client’s story.

Our firm’s namesake, Copenhagen (aka Two Rivers Nick, his more formal name) is the 32-year-old quarter horse that has been in our founder Kate Gardiner’s life since she was seventeen years old. An experienced equestrian, Copenhagen retired sometime around 2017 and lives on a 200-acre sheep farm in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. There, he hangs out with his best friends (a donkey named George and a pony named Dave), occasionally appearing in weddings, photo shoots, sheepdog competitions, and other events you may find at Midwestern farms.
